How does one go about installing more than one display on a pc?
I’m not talking about a screen and TV/projector out. I am revering to 3 or 4 high resolution screens with 3DFx.

I am looking for a solution to get rind of the problem of having more than one application cluttering up my screen. My ideal configuration will be 3 21’ screens and one projector. Where I can do CAD design on one, browsing on another and compare datasheets on the next or surround 3d gaming :-). I can do this with more than one PC but one loses some functionality and a 1G link is just to sluggish. Not slow, sluggish.

The major problem is that motherboards just have one AGP slot and most screen cards just supports up to 2 screens. The one’s that does support more than 2 screens does not have 3dFx support or rather very week 3Dfx.

Mmm got the same answer from the local pc-distributors “blank smiles & don’t knows”

Can I install more than one PCI screen card with my AGP card? Should they be of the same make???

There has to be some one out there that did this before or am I a pioneer in a old, but strange world of weird setups….

You're saying the Matrox Parhelia triplehead cards are not good enough for you? The only alternative I can think of then would be to get a PCI video card that could run the projector and your web browser screen.
