I have a computer with mainboard ECS P6IWP-Fe v. 1.21 with Win98SE.
I have installed video, sound, modem, lan, ide drivers. It works fine, but I see a question mark in Device Manager. This item is described as unknown device and the only resource used is I/O FFB80000-FFBFFFFF.
Any idea of what kind of device it is?

Thanks in advance
Cesar

Perhaps a BIOS enabled onboard device?

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I had a similar problem for a very long time with my ASUS A7V motherboard. It kept insisting I had a SCSI controller (hense the Device Manager). Ultimatelly, getting the latest Windows drivers, Bios update, and making sure everything you don't have (like my SCSI thing) is deactivated in the Bios.

Or you could just leave it be, it might not cause any problems (just like me, but I'm a perfectionist)
