Help buying an effective router

hello everyone!!.i got new sony vaio laptop.otherwise i used wired modem for my pc. want to keep this router in place of my wired modem in the computer room further i want the router to work effectively in all positions in my home.the main problem is that my home is made of concrete instead of wood.what do u people suggest .any help is welcomed :)

    No router or antenna will penetrate solid rock wall, or at least a couple of them, you need to run cabling to open areas, then setup a wifi repeater there. A router may get you a signal around some areas where there are doors, etc... anything over one wall though you won't get a signal.

    i ended up ordering an Asus RT-N12 LX Wireless Router..
