Dolby Digital 5.1

Does anyone know whether or not these TV Tuner cards record an associated Dolby Digital 5.1 signal as well?

i think yes in an analogic form but you have to process it with a digital 5.1 decoder to restiture the 6 channels (eg with an integrated digital decoder sound card as the creative audigy).

obviously you have to receive this DB 5.1 sound signal instead of a simply stereo or surround one.
