TiVo and Vonage

I also have issues with vonage and tivo....My sat receivers have no problem.
There are different dialing patterns that you can try. I do not have them
any more unfortunatley.

VOIP is not always compatible with analog data types. I know that some
numbers for TIVO are compatible but not all. Some individuals can get in
where other cannot. I have not found a number yet. The issues stands where
the digital signal is converted back to analog. ADT has the same issue with
all there numbers.

As VOIP takes the industry the issue will work its self out. VOIP is the new
industry standard from what I can see from working in the telecommunications
industry.

My Tivo can call DirecTV but not the subscription service. What dose this
tell you? Tivo is not always compatible with VOIP. If you call Tivo they
will say the samething. I know, I called when I first go Vonage. I will just
deal with it till they get their heads out of their asses.
