Best modem for comcast plan

what you need is a modem and a wireless router, if you go to the nearest bestbuy store they will help you. A motorola surfboard modem and a Netgear router is all you need.

I currently only have experience with all in one modem/router devices. I was leaning towards the 6121, but I can honestly tell you I have no idea what dant_45 meant by a netgear router. Upon searching newegg I found items ranging from $50 to $800.

I use the Motorola SB6121 and Netgear WNR3500. the Netgear WNDR3700 seems to be good, too
