thanks for the information pal. the reason for asking is that I am trying to look for another alternative because I tried to use dazzle video creator II but it seems that this stuff is not compatible with my aging computer (Pentium III 550 mhz)... The system cannot detect the hardware. Can you recommend any other product suitable for my computer? Here is my system specs:

Gigabyte GA-6WMM-e mother board (810 chipset) without AGP slot
Built in sound card and video card
Pentium III 550 mhz
128mb RAM
15Gb western digital HDD

Is there a need for upgrade or you may suggest me to purchase a new PC so that this dazzle thing will work. thanks

With this computer spec I'd recommend looking for a used Pinnacle DC30+
Note that the product line is practicly finished and future drivers for XP are not sure to be out.
We were working here with a DC30+ on a Celron 466 with Win98 and it was working like charm.

I'd strognly recommend a full computer upgrade to work with Video.

Also check out the Pinnacle as well DC10+
It's still being sold and very good card.
Working in MJpeg at data rate up to 6Mbit. (Very high).
