Hello, I use win.7 ultimate. I have 2GB DDRII ram, with Intel Dual Core 1.8GHz; when I first used system rating, it gave 3.2, with lowest rating for graphics. now, when I try to rate, it gives me 1.9!

I accidentally knocked on my pc tower on a recent day. could that have caused this downgrading?

The windows 7 system rating is meaningless. Feel free to see if you knocked a memory stick out, but again, its a meaningless tool. maybe they added new hardware to the list and scale slid. maybe you had something else running in the background. who knows.

Unless you notice a performance difference ignore the rating. its a very low end system so 1.9 doesn't seem impossible

MS only scales the rating system up. A 3.2 will always be a 3.2 but the rating ceiling can be raised so a 7.9 could be a 8.5. What were your old ratings and what are your new ratings (each component)?

I can't remember for each component now. But the 1.9 rating comes now for CPU calculations per second!

I'll wait and see if the performance is lesser than it has been b4.

Thanx alot!

I dismantled the cpu, cleaned it a little and fixed it.
The cpu cooling fan was loose when I dismantled it.
now it gives a rating of 3.0 for Calc.s per second!

thanx a lot
