How can I stick out a memory chip? If the motherboard matters I have a Soltek. And btw does the chip say 64 mb or do I have to recognize it another way?

And, would it be wise to stick with two 256 mb (I think their slow, PC100) than 256+256+64? And I saw this line in SiSoft Sandra: Max Memory 512MB. And I have about 589MB. I think this is affecting my perfomance.

PIII 850mhz
GeForce2 GTS 32 mb
589MB (EDRAM?) PC 100

Do you mean "stick out memory chip?"? It means that I would like to know how to get rid of it.
About EDRAM, not sure.

are you talking about actually removing one of the silicon chips from the memory SIMM circuit board?

there are clips on the ends that you have to tilt outwards. Then: if it's a SIMM you usually tilt it away from the clips then lift out. If it's a DIMM, tilting out the clips usually pops it right out.
