Is there any way of disabling GPRS on the T630? I hate the instant
access button and all the menu features that immediately try to
connect and would like to disable the whole thing (at least for now).
Help?

A workaround: Set a password for GPRS connection.

What happened to setting the preferred service to "GSM only" as opposed to
"GSM and GPRS".
This way the phone won't look for a GPRS connection.

Hmmm, interesting.
That should remove the GPRS indicator above the reception meter - oh well,
you'll have to get in touch with your network then.
