What are the benefits of haveing SCSI drives? There are 40x regular drives but i have only seen 24x SCSI drives. Which is faster at burning a CD, overall?

No performance advantage to the drive itself, just the ability to use more drives and better use drives simultaneously.

Basically, instead of looking at the advantages of the SCSI drive itself, you'd be looking at the advantages of SCSI over IDE.
