Running Windows 7 on my Dell computer. Bought a headset w/mic to use on Speech Recognition program. Plugged headset into front jacks and got great stereo sound when listening to music. Then started the Speech Recognition program and mic only worked in jack on back of computer. I switched jack location for mic to front jack and now I do not have stereo sound in my headphones. Microphone works. How do I get my stereo sound back?

Did that and have so many choices that I tried them all and still no stereo sound. Only have sound on one side of headset. I need to reset jack locations but I don,t know which icon will set jack back to original position when I had stereo sound. Can you figure this out for this Dummy?

Tried different headsets and the stereo is fine in them. Changed icon to headset w/one front jack and 2 rear jacks. Still only have mono in the one headset even though both sides of set put out sound, jusy not together

Sounds like an issue with that headset, if others work fine.
