Hi everybody, this is my first post here so i hope i´m in the right Forum.

I´m going to buy a new PSU for my computer since the one that came along with the case is too noisy.
My question is:
Which PSU is the most silent one, Zalman or Enermax?
Is there anybody that has any experience of the Zalman PSU?
It is supposed to be silent.

Greatfull for all help!!

I don't have any experience with Zalman power supplies, but Enermaxes are the quietest I've ever used. I highly recommend them.

I agree with Arrow, again. I recommend Enermax. They are very quiet and reliable.

That´s one question i have forgotten to ask myself because i have a 300W PSU today and i have been living under the impression that that is enough. In my computer i have:

1Hdd
1DVD-player
1CD-burner
1Geforce 2 GTS with passive cooling from Zalman.
1Hollywood MPEG2 decoder card.
1NIC 10/100.

The CPU is AMD Athlon 1,2 GHz.
I have changed to a silent CPU fan becuase the one that came with the computer ran in max speed all the time.
It sounded like a boeing ready for takeof.

So, will 300W be enough?
If not, there is only one option and that is Enermax.

300 Watt is enough for your system.

Have a look at <A HREF="http://www.quietpc.com/psu.html" target="_new">this</A> PSU.

They're nice, and they're also good quality output. There are Canadian & American mirror sites.
