Well i can see that AUOptronics and HyDis panels do rule.
Does anyone knows the panel that Sony SDM-HX73 uses?

Reply to jonnyurso

Yes I am wondering the same for the Sony SDM-X73???

Reply to Spacemanspiff

X73 does not have a very good panel.
I believe that HS73, X73 and HX73 have all diferent panels from diferent manufacturers.

The Sony SDM-X73 line are very good LCDs, don't take my word for it go to newegg.com and read some of the customer reviews and you'll see. They are also on sale right now at newegg.

I am about to purchase the Herc monitor based on THG review, but I noticed a discrepency between the specs on THG and other review websites. Namely the difference in contrast which was reported to be 500:1 / 350:1, respectively. Can someone please explain what is going on so I can place my order. Thanks!

The displays are the same. This mistake is mine.

By the way, the PV 920 Pro is now available as we said in the States with free shipping:

Hi Butaz...would you happen to have any info on the NEC Multisync LCD1765?

Is it based on the same panel as the NEC LCD1760 reviewed previously? Would you still go with the Hercules Prophetview 920?
