Need to find and change security key

Hello,
im having problems with wireless set-up i need security key how do i get that. i had to restore computer to original state lost everything just would like reset wireless

Basically, type ipconfig in the command prompt box to find your gateway address, type that into your browser and enter the default ID and password for your router (see your manual) and then go to wireless security settings, the passphrase will be there.
