I know this is a PC based forum but I thought maybe there is somebody who uses Sun Workstations at work or something.

My question is, do you know a way to put a wallpaper in Common Desktop Enviroment? I tried sun help but no luck so far. I want to place a 1280x1024 bitmap picture as a wallpaper. Anybody knows how to do it?

I use Solaris and don't know how to make any changes to the CDE.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

I have no idea how to change it in Solaris; I've tried but failed. Try using FVWM instead of CDE. It's very easy to totally customize the colors, menus, background, etc.
