How to rebuild hard drive

I've got a 75gxp 61.4GB drive that fails to even power on, not seen in bios or by system when used as slave. Went to IBM's site and found out that it is OEM not retail like I was told so the warranty is out. I bought it at a show, nice huh!! Does any one know where or how to repair a dead hard drive? I spent alot for this awhile ago and would like to use it even if it is crap.

I believe you should still be able to obtain a warranty exchange. Call them.

Their is no warranty from IBM and I bought this from someone at a show about 6 months ago. I can't get a warranty.
