Hello,
I am having some issues that I thought you might be able to sort out for me.

I, unlike some here, am very happy with the G-510 and all the other products that I have purchased from Logitech, but.....

I have a network set up in my office and I need the use of a KVM switch. I do a lot of programming and the reason I use the

G-510 is because it has so many macro keys. I use them to pre program structure and character cmd's to cut back on time

and believe me they help me out daily. (getting back on topic)

I need a KVM and I need this Keyboard too. I know that there is a known issue with emulating KVM's so I bought a DDM KVM (ConnectPro ur-14)

and I did manage to get both kb & mouse too work, but just no macro's and no control over the keyboard itself (i.e. no color controls and no programming, and kb acts up).

I think it is because the kb still thinks it is connected to one PC when in fact it has been switched over to one of the other

PC's.... any thoughts on how to fix or patch the problem?

More about : 510 ddm kvm

Is there a software you need to install for the PC to recognize the special keys?

I believe the Macros are stored on the PC not the keyboard.

I knew ConnectPRO had just released a firmware specially for G15 or G510 gaming keyboard. We had tested it and found the G-key macro assignments are working with this special firmware upgrade for ConnectPRO's USB DDM KVM lines. I hope this will help ! :wahoo:
