The Linksys wireless products rule!
I just wondered off into the woods here and I’m still connected!
I’m about 150 yards from my access point, which is in the cement basement of my house.
This is so cool…I am such a geek…

Yes, Chris, that is so cool. And no, we are not geeks just cause we are willing to spend $250 or more to be able to take a stroll and take our net with us.
BTW, what access point model are you using, I am investigating getting a wireless/switched router for use at home.

I got the Linksys WAP11 which is plugged into a cable/DSL router.

Thanks, even though the review on THG recently says that the performance is only about 1/10 of wired, I still want the freedom to roam, though the gaming will probably stay wired.
