So what did you install after you installed Windows 7 on your PC? Here's mine:

1. Video card, fingerprint reader, and bluetooth adapter drivers (Windows 7 couldn't find the first two automatically, and installed the wrong Bluetooth driver)
2. AVG Free.
3. Firefox
4. iTunes
5. Skype
6. YM
7. uTorrent
8. Filezilla
9. Notepad++

What's yours? :) Any must-have Windows 7 program I should've installed?

Believe it or not OP, I've got practically the same list! I installed iTunes and VLC last though.

starams5, is that Perfect Disk completely compatible with Windows 7?

Usually I start off with drivers (sound card, video card, etc.), then I get my anti virus software (I usually go with Avast!, not a big fan of AVG). Then MPC-HC (HTPC uses) and then other misc software (Firefox, Nero ....etc. )

Yes and no. Yes according to Raxco but their is a conflict with the new nVidia driver's (maybe its nVidia's fault). If you decide to run PD whether you're having a problem or not I would go to the Product Resources tab/Support/and click 'Start" to check for conflicts before you get stuck on a reboot with no get back. It will repair any conflicts.

When I set up a computer I typically crank up IE and download and install Firefox first. Then I close IE and switch to Firefox and download Acrobat Reader and Irfanview. If it is a computer that I'm interested in performance of I will download CPUID and SuperPi and play with those. I put shortcuts on my desktop for Explorer and Notepad.

Big CoD fan, cool me to. Are you running warhead or the first Crysis?

Update and FYI: Installed Build 7201 yesterday, older versions of Acronis True Image are not supported anymore, totally blocked from using the software. Compatibility mode not an option. You'll have to upgrade to Acronis True Image Home 2009 12.0.9709.
