Is connection from pc to laptop is possible

how can i connect my PC with laptop with LAN cable for high speed file transfer?

All you need to do is manually assign IP addresses and Subnet Mask to the two machines. Use 192.168.1.1 (PC) and 192.168.1.2 (Laptop) and 255.255.255.0 as Subnet Mask on both. You wont need Gateway Address or DNS Addresses on either. Then just share the folders you would like to share on either machine and start copying!

You may need a crossover cable to do this depending on if your network cards are auto mdi-x.
