Altec Lansing Drivers for Windows 8

I have Altec Lansing, Model VS2221 speakers which I am trying to operate with a Windows 8 operating system and it doesn't work. Occasionally I can download a driver program that will have them working for short period of time, but when computer is turned off, they won't come back on. Do you have a driver solution for this?

The make/model of the speakers themselves are irrelevant as they don't need drivers. It's the sound adapter in your PC or laptop which needs a drivers. You can download the sound driver package from your PC or laptop maker's website.
