Odd question with wireless and headphones

OK so I really don't know what category to put this in and it is kinda of odd/stupid question. Anyway is to possible connect my wireless 2.4GHz headphone to my router (Belkin N750db) to transmit the sound. The only reason being the wireless dongle that came with my headphones is not strong enough to transmit a signal from one end of my house to the other, where my piano is. On the other hand my wireless Internet is still a full strength at the other end of my house so in theory it may work. I would use my laptop but all my software for sound generation is on my desktop which is on the other side of the house and the laptop does not have the raw power to run Sony Sound Forge, Finale, and Ableton Suite 8 at the same time. If this is possible please post on what I need to do. Thanks in advance.
