My installation doesn't ask me to Press any key to boot from CD

Hello,

I am experiencing a big problem in installing any operating system on my computer, it doesn't ask me to "Press any key to boot from CD" and it directly shows as it is installing the software but after completing the installation it reboots and again re-starts installation. I would be very thankful if any one can help me out in installing my computer. my id is sshadab.khan@gmail.com

Iam trying to install Windows XP I can install the same software with the same CD on other computer but when it comes to my computer it doesn't allow me to install. Please help

Did you take the CD out after installation and before it has rebooted?
What computer are you trying to install on? (make/model)

Thank you I succesfull resolved the issue...the problem was the CD was not good.http://img.tomshardware.com/forum/uk/icones/smilies/bounce.gif
