I have an install of WinME that seems to function normally except that I recently found that I could not view source on web pages. Exploring deeper I found the following error code:

I go Start > Programs > accessories > system tools > System information. then double click components and click problem devices. I get:

Device pnp device ID error
IRQ Holder for PCI Steering PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ0B 10
IRQ Holder for PCI Steering PCI\IRQHOLDER\IRQ0A 10

Anyone have an idea what the problem is?

I put a second HD in and set it to boot in bios and installed WinME on it. Error code 22 which I understand is not a problem. View source works fine. So its not a big deal. I Find I have to nuke my disk and reinstall WinME every 4 months or so anyway. But I would like to know what was wrong.

Looks like an IRQ conflick, but that's a shoot in the dark if there ever was one.
IRQ conflicts of course will appear in "conrole panel - system - device manager"

Are we really ready for "contact" ?

Nope, no conflict there.

When in doubt blame it on ME and get 2k/xp.
