i hate to burst your bubble but the phone isnt stolen i use it every day and
its not blocked however i want an imei like 000000000000001 but also want to
be able to keep upgrading my firware after i change it..this was not a
question asking you how to change the imei more about wether firware can be
upgraded after i do so if it stops me from upgrading firmware ill just keep
my original imei

just because its more fun to have a 01 imei same as its better to have a
gold number i just like the idea and i have the cables to do it so i figure
why not the rest of my phone is totally customised so the imei is the last
thing i can change.. however i still want to be able to upgrade firmware
after i do so...if i cant ill just stick with my same imei and keep playing
with the firmware

Your phone may not work after changing the imei to 01 since some carriers
only allow valid ranges of imei on their networks.

You keep saying this. But why not just try it? Then you know. I doubt
anybody else had the urge to change the IMEI to 01 so far.
