I keep getting this message when I try to open a program on Windows 7: "There is not enough free memory to run this program. Exit one or more programs, and try again". Can anyone help me?

have you tried right clicking and running the program as an administrator? if that doesnt work you have to edit your virtual memory settings
Control Panel> System>Advanced> Performance> Settings> Advanced>Virtual Memory.

Open up task manager (Ctrl Shift Esc) and select the Performance tab. How much of your RAM are you using?

Free memory refers to system ram or virtual memory. How much ram does the computer have, did you turn off virtual memory?
