I cant connect my netbook to the internet CE Version 6 00 no wireless informatio

I bought a 7" netbook with Windows CE Version 6.00 (build 3122). I can't figure out how to connect to the internet. The instruction manual says to click on the wireless icon, which brings up a window that, in the picture in the manual has three tabs, the third being "wireless information", but on my netbook that window only has two tabs. The "wireless information" tab isn't there and that's what I'm supposed to go to to connect to the internet. What do I do?

did you turn on the wireless? see if you have a switch somewhere on the side or front of the netbook
