[Solved] Laptop Wifi Problem

I used to be able to get Wifi anywhere, except one spot, at Hasting's Entertainment, Then about a week ago, I could n't get wifi at any Public Network at all,, McDonald's , Starbucks, Hastings, or anywhere,,, I could only get it at home, wireless router, and at my work, wireless router.

Now, today only,, I can get wifi at Starbucks, at least this one location. I haven't tried other starbucks, McD's, etc.. as yet ,, Today..

I've disable the wireless adapter, turned off the computer,, then enabled it,, and then restarted the computer, I've turned off the firewall and restarted,,

None of these things seemed to work,,,

I've thought of going back to "restore" and trying that, but that would be somewhat drastic!

Any ideas,, this is a 32bit Win 7 Home Edition, on a Dell Inspiron 1720,

I"ve done nothing NEW in the past week,, no downloads, no nothing,,

Are you saying it's working now, or not working now? Do you see the public connections in the list? What happens when you try to connect?

You can check for a new driver from Dell's support site, may help.
