Possible DPC lag? Sound cracking/static

Hello, Im having an issue with sound interference. I have been getting an annoying, loud buzzing sound from my speakers on my monitor When I connect the green AV cables and continues to make the sound regardless if i mute the system. I think it may be DPC latency from what I have seen others post about. But when I use the DPC checker its pretty normal in the 100-200range.

I've tried several things such as: disabled my Mic, moved any phones that were close by away, take out power to the TV and other electronics, but still no help.

I have A VIZIO 32' M320NV. and a Viewsonic Monitor. I'm pretty sure the problem isn't either the TV or monitor because I get the same interference when I connect speakers to the PC.

My Specs for my PC are

Sabertooth x58Mobo
Intel 17 970
1 Geforce GTX 570
16gigs of DDR3 Ram

I have had this issue for a year now. ASUS does nothing for me and refers me nowhere. I have tried everything from RMAing my board, trying different drivers, disabling intel speed step, getting an independent sound card, ect. If someone could please help me figure this out, it would make my life alot easier. It is too much to hear that static come from the monitor whenever I boot something up that requires the system to work (ex) starting an online game up).

Bump, ASUS hasn't been useful so I need some help

So it happens with both the onboard sound and a sound card. It sound like electrical interference from your house electrical grid or the PSU.

First make sure the interference is not coming from some place else. Unplug all extra equipment from the computer and around the computer. I had a computer that had audio buzzing when the cable box was placed on top of it.

Try a different outlet on a different circuit to plug the computer into. Just for fun plug the speakers and computer into an extension cord from all the way across the room.

If it is electrical or magnet interference from the house electrical grid or PSU you can try managing it with a bunch of ferrite cores. Put one on the front audio cable inside the PC put one on each power connector that goes to the drives and such. Put one on the power wire and one on the audio cable.

Make sure you have good grounds... Make sure the board stand offs and io shield are making direct contact and are not loose or on paper washers. Make sure the PSU us secured to the case with metal screws and that you are using a ground electrical plug and not a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter that are sometimes used in old houses.

Thanks for the response! I've tried everything you listed to no avail. I've had my computer in several locations already, and everywhere it goes the buzzing accompanies it, so i doubt it the house.

I just took a look inside the computer and I can hear buzzing coming from it. Could it possibly be the cause of the audio crackling? I've seated my board multiple times and always the same issues.

A noticable bussing from inside the computer can be the casue, sometimes PSUs make noise often called capacitor squeal. That can also cause static or snow on the monitor as well. Try to figure out exactly what part is making the buzz.

Im pretty sure its not the PSU. I am almost positive its coming from the CPU. Im also running LatMon.

Thanks again for the help!

I'd like to also state the sound get much louder when I run anything the stresses the computer. Example) I was running ATI tool to see if it was the GPU and static got increasing louder and louder.

Even with audio disabled I can hear a screeching sound coming from the GPU.

EDIT: The static is coming from the GPU not the CPU after I got a toilet paper roll and listened in more carefully.

CONCLUSION
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines belonging to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. Also one or more ISR routines belonging to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. You may have to disable wireless adapters to get better results. You might have to disable your battery device to get better results.

Reading your newest post it does not sound like the buzzing is related to the issue. It sounds like your issue really is deferred procedure call lag. The fermi based video cards have like 4 embedded audio devices. I can only guess its 2 channels per video output. Probablly for hd sound over hdmi. That means your computer has like 5 or 6 active sound cards. Just for fun in the device manger mark all the nvidia hd audio devices disabbled. So that only your on board realtek is active.
Reboot and try your test again. Its a bit of a long shot but it is easy to try and you got nothing to lose.

tried that, didn't work unfortunately. Also tried disabling my wireless/LAN cards.

Can I possibly buy a new soundcard to remedy this? I remember buying a cheap USB one, and the problem still persisted.

Sound static does NOT go away with nvidia HD audio devices uninstalled and realtek drivers disabled or uninstalled. Even with sound muted you can still hear the static.

Baby Jesus please help me
