I was thinking about upgrading my ram from my Mushkin PC2700 512mb dimm to 2 Kingmax 256mb dimms PC 3200. It's about the same price to do so . What do you guys/gals think?

More about : kingmax 3200 good

i assume your overclocking yaa?
the pc3200 should let you get further, but bear in mind that there may be an overclock limitation using TWO sticks of ram opposed to one.

but if your mushkin is working fine now... why bother?

THe MUshkin is only PC2700. The king max is PC3200. I would think that even with 2 sticks the kingmax would be easier to overclock my XP1800 with due to the naturally higher speed of the Ram. I'm more concerned about the FSB and not overclocking the ram. what do you think? Is it still easier with one PC 2700 dimm than it it s with 2 PC 3200 dimms?

yeah. i think the kingmax in that case would go further.

question though, whats the cas timings of the kingmax... and where the heck have you found the stuff?

P.S. just last nite i ordered my PC3200 corsair 512mb cas 2.5 (can do 185 cas2) fun fun fun.
