I want to setup a server in my home and would like some ideas on to start it. I have a spare computer sitting around that I was planning to use. It is a Intel Q9665 4 core processor. I also have win 2003 server software. What I want is a central location to store my data and possibly run a web page.

You can easily access Internet creating your own server. To build server at home you need some components such as a computer, broadband network connection, wired or wireless router with Ethernet cable, CD/DVD drive.
