Like i always say, you get what you pay for, undoubtedly if its really cheap it might be really crappy, and wont overclock the slightest bit over standard,
goto http://www.frostytech.com/Ramfinder.cfm if you want to find out more info about all types of ram including infineon.
i hear samsung ram is good for the P4 ddr platform (ditto for rdram).
according to <b><font color=green>FatBurger</b></font color=green> corsair seems to make the best pc2700 memory
<b><font color=red>ATI</font color=red>'s drivers are like a broken faucet, they both keep on leaking...</b>
I'm still after two stores. Namely, <A HREF="http://www.canadacomputers.com" target="_new">Canada Computers</A> and <A HREF="http://www.sunnycomputers.com" target="_new">Sunny Computers</A>. I'm not sure if Sunny has Micron PC2700 or Infineon PC2700 but I think it's Micron.
Yup! I'm going to get a stick of 512MB Samsung PC2700! Then I'll overvolt that baby to 2.9V, and add thermaltake heatspreaders, then, I'll run that thing at 450MHz and prove to Crashman that DDR RAM can be faster than PC1066! Of course, that's after I finish school and all my exams.
Samsung makes the most overclockable DDR and RDRAM
I'm about to buy samsung PC2700 too, and was wondering if it would be fine for overclocking, so would be good if you post your OC results later....
BTW, are those samsung sticks CAS 2.0 or 2.5?
