I'm coming into the new century as far as computers go, having just purchased a new P4/WinXP/ATX MB system to replace my old 233MMX/Win98SE/AT MB unit. I'm looking for guidance on buying a new keyboard with the Power key.
I would like to know if the power key will actually startup the computer from a power off state. Does anyone out there use this type of keyboard?
I'm looking at the Belkin MediaBoard, Ortek MCK-8000 Power Office Keyboard or the Logitech Internet Navigator(not sure if this one has Power key).
Thanks in advance for your help.

I think your MB actually has to support the power button for this to work, i know with my Epox 8KHA+ you can choose which key you want to start your computer or have all keys starting the computer, I just mash they keyboard and my computer fires up cause im too lazy to reach down and press the power button

What was that!

Thanks for the reply, psyclone. I like your style. "Let the machine do the work" is my motto!
Stupid me forgot to list my motherboard type. I have a Soyo P4S Dragon Ultra.
If anyone can tell me if this board supports the Power On key and how to set it in the BIOS I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks again.
