How to share drives in windows 7 over a wifi network

Hi
I want to share drives(or folders) between my laptop and PC.I have enabled the sharing in desktop and also I am able to see shared drives in my Laptop network settings(windows 7),but when I double click them to open the shared drives,it says You do not have permission to access <computer name>/<drive letter>.Contact your network admin to request access.

Can someone help me on this?
