I cant get my linksys router WRT54GS to set up

I have had my router (linksys WRT54GS) for a few years now. I lost the disk for the inital set up and had the company send me the set up wizzard i get all the way to the last step and it tells me that the router either can connect to the router... now i was told i had to upgrade the firmware or something but honestly i know nothing about computers please help me

Simply, you download or upgrade firmware directly from your control panel section and if you know more about just go through this link am sure your problem will solve there.
