Use LAN for internet and Wifi for printer on Windows 7?

Hi guys,

Recently I bought a new Wifi enabled laserprinter, so that we can print from the various laptops in our apartment. My main PC is connected via LAN, but I wondered if it is possible to use Wifi to connect to the printer, while the internet still uses the LAN connection?
In that case I could move the printer away from my PC to a better location and would be bound to connect it to the main PC via an USB cable.

I probably can just plugin a wifi usb stick when I actually need to print (or maybe put together some script to switch between the two adapters), but a more comfortable solution would be really helpful?
