Does W4 (or some call S4) currently have Bravo on channel 24 and MSNBC on 22
(ANALOG)?

Thank you,
~Ben

I am not near my receiver to check those channels.

Bravo and MSNBC have been known to uplink a 2nd analog feed for
the Olympics. This year those 2nd feeds are supposed to be on AMC-4
so there is a good chance that those channels are there.

Also Lyngsat shows they are there

Solidaridad 2 = M2

M1 was removed from the maps years ago. It should disappear from
your receiver's list fairly soon.

Thank you.
I have some Satellite with horse racing on channel 18 Analog. I can't figure
out witch one it is. My receiver says M1 but I don't think that's right.

Well the horse racing is gone and there are now no active analog channels on
this satellite. Well for now I will have to leave it marked as M1. I have no
other clue how to tell what it is.

A few tricks for you:

To find M5(Satmex 5),turn your 4dtv sidecar to M5,then use the analog rcvr
to search for it(it's a bit to the left of G0)...

the sat with the horse racing wild feed is most likely Anik E2...it usually
has horse racing on 2,12,14,16,18,and sometimes that and other programming
on 24.

Late in the afternoon(in the summer months) they have Assiniboia Downs, then
in the evenings there is Harness Racing.

W4(AMC4)(if your receiver can use the new[and 4dtv] sat names, use
them!Forget the old names.)....has MSNBC on tr #22 and Bravo on tr #24.

It's listed in the 4dtv IPG(that's how I found it!)...

You're welcome.

Using the sidecar and watching for the green light was the ONLY way I could
find M5,since there is no analog on it anymore.

Using an mpeg-2 rcvr on an anik feed,is the easiest way to find Anik
F1(tuning west from W1,on an even channel)...

Hurry up and lock in W1,before PT24 leaves.
