I'd like to hook up a DVD/VCR combo player to a tv and a set of
speakers. I think I'll need some sort of power for the speakers to
work (tv speakers weak - not an option - but the tv does have audio
out). Are there any DVD/VCR players that would play through speakers
without adding additional equipment (tuner/amp) ? Any ideas?

John

Does your TV allow for external speakers (speaker terminals)?
Been 10 years since I used the internal speakers (or Amplifier).
Before I went home theater Surround, I used my Stereo amplifier (Line
in) to drive a pair of Pioneer CS-R500.
