Speakers on Windows 7

Hello,
i have problems with my notebook,i am using WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL.. the speaker in the tool bar has a red X, when I checked the hardware it says ''NO DEVICES INSTALLED'' then i go to device manager to check for updates for ''SYSTEM SPEAKERS'', then it says ''WINDOWS HAS DETERMINED THE DRIVER SOFTWARE FOR YOUR DEVICE IS UP TO DATE'' then i clicked the ''DRIVER DETAIS'' then it says ''NO DRIVER FIES ARE REQUIRED OR HAVE BEEN LOADED FOR THIS DEVICE''...i tried to download the setting by searching it on google but no settings match for ''SYSTEM SPEAKERS''

You don't need software for your speakers, you need the drivers for your sound card.

Go to the PC vendor's web site, look there based on your model to get the Windows 7 sound card or audio drivers.

9 is correct you need the audio driver that is made avalible to download on the manufactures website.

Whats the make and model?

Its a tshiba. Ill find out the model when I get home. Thanks for your help. :-)
