Install virtual pc assus

Hello,
I am trying to install XP virtual PC on an ASUS PC with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. It starts to sintall it and then at the end of installation tells me that it cannot installit. What am I doing wrong? I am installing it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx

Use VirtualBox software to install Xp Os which is much better option as you will be able to use the power of two os simultaneously switching according to your need and it would not lack in the performance by your system.
