Hello,where do i get a sep password for my mac book pro laptop.i have used the number from the router and modem and still doesn't work,being on a locked network does this make a difference?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

I think that must be the problem because a MAC will leap, tart like, into any network for which it has the right security key. Are you sure it's WEP? The stronger security levels are WPA and WPA2 and are recommended over WEP these days. Can the MAC "see" the network but still refuses to join?
