We have a new speed champion! ATP's new 2 GB SD card, mounted in a Dell
X50v, is capable of writing data at more than 2 MB/second. This should
allow PDAudio handheld digital audio recorders to record at rates of
24/192, using a PDA with a sufficiently fast CPU.

Background:

PDAudio is Core Sound's handheld high-resolution digital audio recorder.
Using PDAs that run Windows Mobile as its base, PDAudio is capable of
recording two channels at 24-bit/96 (and now 24/192 KS/s) to flash
memory cards, wireless network drives, hard drives and other storage
media.
