Digital Cable

Can anyone tell me what effect having digital cable will have on tv capture? Is the signal digital on all the channels or just some? Will I be able to capture such pay channels a HBO?

I found the right person at my cable co. Some of the channels are analog but for the digital ones I will need another cable box. Meaning I will have to change the channels through the box only.

That is basically correct. You will have to send the specific channel to your video card if you want to capture it.

I do not think there are any digital TV tuner cards on the market. However, I am still looking.
