My Sony Ericsson HBH-200 headset has given up the ghost after not being used
for a while. It won't hold any charge. I had a HBH-30 that did the same.

Do SE have a problem with this?

Like for phone batteries, it is normal that rechargeable batteries give some
trouble after a long time not being used.
The HBH-200 has replaceable batteries, so you might try a repair.
It is still in warranty period I assume, so use SE repair service.
