Since there is no channels standard for Ku satellites is there a way to
determine what frequencies are being tuned?
I see the 922's "channels" and can slide the frequency + or - 20 mhz
from the zero mark of that channel. But that still doesn't tell what
frequency I'm on.
Thanks,
Take care,
Rich

Options 6-0-5-Right-Right (Diag screen C, in the middle of the 3rd
line), is the tuned LNB frequency.

That's not what I'm looking for.
A frequency for a specific transmission is (for example) 12065. How can
I tune to that specific frequency?
Thanks for the help.

You wanted to kmow what frequency you are on. You never said you
wanted to manually tune it.
Now, Options 6-7-7-8-1 will take you to a menu to manually tune the IF
frequency (you have to do the math to convert RF to IF), but that is
good only for tuning in a signal and downloading maps, not for tuning
in any video or audio servce.

Sorry for the confusion.
My old IRD had a programmable setting to change the displayed frequency
on the Ku "channels from +/- a baseline zero to showing the actual tuned
frequency. You're saying the DSR 922 has nothing like that?
Thanks,

The other though I had...
Is there any place in the 922 documentation, or some place on line that
gives a chart for how the "channels" on Ku translate into actual video
or audio service frequencies?
Take care,
Rich
