So, I have a RTL8187 wireless adapter. First of all, it did not come with windows 7 driver so it was a pain finding one. I found the latest ones though, but it seems it doesnt work (no networks will show). I have to choose the pretty outdated drivers, and it cant connect to WPA, WPA2, and hell, even open networks. I need help thanks.

Thanks. I have installed new bunch of drivers but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. I still cant connect to networks except WEP (ironically, there are like 6 WPA and WPA2 networks around me, and I know every password). Any more recommendation? Thanks in advance.

Run a scan with the Xirrus utility from here http://www.xirrus.com/Products/Wi-Fi-Inspector.aspx and post the resluts back here. My money is on the settings not the driver - surely they can't all have the same effect.

Can you expand how can I do that? I really cant see anything significant with that app.

I'm hoping the Connectivity Troubleshooting department might show us something.

There are like 4 panels and there is no option like that.
Anyways, I was running aircrack and I was surprised to know that there are no data being sent back to my wireless adapter at all (well there were datas before :o  )
