ST318452LC vs. ST318452LW: 15000RPM, 8MB cache

Does anyone know what the differences are? I have searched Seagate's site and could not find anything.

Thanks.

  1. Please refer to:

    http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/howto/interpret_model.html

    LC : LVD, 80pin SCA
    LW : LVD, 68pin wide

  4. the 68 pin. The extra pins on the 80 pin version are for hot swapping the drives, and would require an 80 to 68 pin adapter for most systems.

    What's the frequency, Kenneth?
