New HDTV 4DTV 4 tuner (2 sat, 2 OTA) DVR!!!

Ok, I got your attention. :)

It is the new DSR531.

It is the same case as what would have been the new Voom DVR. It is a
commercial IRD like the 406, 4200v, etc.
Has a 250GIG HD, the 4 tuners...2 from the atsc cards that goes in a
voom. A PCMCIA cam slot in the front.

The one I have hasn't ever been hit so I am SOL on manually tuning any
FTA and seeing it I believe, but think I will try it right now.


I'll post pics if anyone wants to see them.

Not quite. It is a consumer receiver, like the 406 platform is
intended to be (sold in Canada for the Starchoice service as the 401).
AFAIK, the 530 may become the SC DVR.

And the PCMCIA slot, I think, is for an MPEG4 decoder card.
