ABSTRACT:

Tom Nousaine, Contributing Technical Editor to Sound & Vision magazine,
describes performance limitations of horizontally arrayed center channel
speakers that the few in the industry (manufacturers, distributors and
press) seem willing to discuss.

SPEAKER:

Tom Nousaine began professionally evaluating audio products in 1986 and over
the years his byline has appeared in The $ensible Sound, The Audio Critic,
Audio, Stereo Review, Car Stereo Review, Mobile Entertainment, Sound &
Vision and Video among other consumer publications where he used, evaluated
and measured hundreds of loudspeaker systems. He has also served as
Chairman, Chicago AES Section and AES Central Region Vice President.
